Re: Lemonade Diet/ Cleansing- Help, Help, Help!!
It is not essential to end a cleanse with a
Liver Flush though it certainly is beneficial. All you need to do for a liver cleanse is this: When you wake up on the day of your cleanse you can eat breakfast if you like, but it MUST be a no fat breakfast or the cleanse will not work. Some good choices are fruit or plain cooked grain with a little salt or fruit juice if you like. REMEMBER NO FAT. Do not eat anything after 2:00 pm. At 6:00 pm mix 4 tbsp. of
Epsom Salts with 3 cups of water and drink 3/4 a cup now. At 8:00 pm drink another serving of
Epsom Salts (3/4 c.) At 9:45 wash 2 grapefruits and squeeze out the juice into a jar then pour in 1/2 c. of olive oil. At 10:00 drink all of this mixture and immedietely lie down. Lay completely still for atleast 30 minutes. Its best if you can go to sleep but it will still work if you dont. At 6:00 to 6:30 the next morning you can drink a 3rd serving of the
Epsom Salts , though I usually omit this part. At around 10:00 am you can start to eat again. First start with fruit and then a few hours later you may eat regular light food. Thats it, your done. Its very cheap and easy to do. For more info click on Liver Flush. Usually hunger subsides on the 3rd day of fasting but if not fasting may not be right for you at this time. So many people fast and feel starving the whole time thinking that its neccesary but it really isnt. The starving feeling comes when your body is not getting enough minerals. When you are coming from a bad diet I believe its best not to start fasting immedietely. After being on a
healthy Diet with plenty of greens for a few months your body will reminerallize itself and fasting will become very easy. I can fast for long periods of time without ever being hungry. So if your hunger is unbearable after 3 days try eating a clean diet(raw foods are best) and then come back to the master cleanse, you'll be surprised how easy it will be. If its not too unbearable then some things you can do are take baths or go for a light walk if you have the energy. This will keep your mind off food. Good Luck!
