Sugar Allergies

I have a child that is allergic to sugar. He is not diabetic and not hypoglycemic or hyperglycemic. In his system, Sugar turns to alcohol. I think he is missing an enzyme that breaks down sugar. Am I correct??? Is there any way you can give me any suggestions. It is a severe reaction. Please Help. Tweet
