Chemical Peel

My brother's girlfriend is on her 9th day of her first cleanse. She has a chemical peel scheduled for today and is concerned about having that done while on the mc. They generally have the person take a valium first, but she is not going to take the pill. Does anybody have any thoughts about this. I wouldn't think it's a problem, but I don't really know much about the whole chemical peel process. Thanks.
