pain without stones

I have had an ultrasound that shows no stones. My doctor thinks that my problem is from a bad gall bladder. I have a hida scan scheduled. I am having pain in my shoulder blades that wraps arround to the breast muscles. I also have pain at the sternum. Will the flush help a bad gall bladder without stones.
