aspartame / splenda / sucralose /nutrasweet

If you are one that believes that the 'all knowing and protective' FDA is looking out for your best interest, then continue using phoney sweetners so your sweet tooth is satisfied. Just don't be surprised when down the road you experience health problems or worse, or even realizing some problems now.

I believe eating natural Sugar is better than any artificial sweetner in the long run. Most bodies can deal with it. I use maple syrup for cooking all the time. If you are diabetic there are many other alternatives to satisfying the sweet tooth.

The concentration of chemicals found in artificial sweetners, and the systems reactions from those chemicals make it impossible for the human body to function efficiently. Artificial sweetners are POISON! Research it! I believe stevia will prove not to be as wonderful as it is made out to be.

I once bought and tried stevia and found myself cleaning the kitchen with a Q-tip
at 3a.m. It is not 'natural'. It is highly concentrated. Sure it comes from natural sources...just like Mono-Sodium-Glutamat (Natrium Glutamat) is derived from Sugar beets, and that's really great for you too ,eh?

FYI : If you are interested in finding out how the government is poisoning us with artificial sweetners(among other things!) then google 'donald rumsfeld' + 'aspartame'. Yes , good old Donald was CEO of Searle, the company that mfgs aspartame. Funny how aspertame was approved by the FDA when Rumsfeld was working with Regan and his transition team. Especially after heavy critisim from the medical and scientific community...Geez, what a surprise.

I said it before... The Master Cleanse is not just a mode to lose weight quick or instantly sweep many toxins from the body. It is an aid in mastering one's self and and a test in discipline. Now is a great chance to abstain from sweets and virtually everything for a brief time, just to see how life is without the sweetners, the chewing gum, the cigarettes,etc...is it really that hard? I think that if it is ,one should examine how 'hooked' and dependant they've become. Take control of yourself...stop being a slave. Instead of just doing an mc or flush or whatever once in a while, try continuing a healthy lifestyle 100% of the time.

..for a really good alternative to sugar, google 'lo han kuo' , a chinese fruit that is 300 times sweeter than sugar, naturally,untouched...it also has something like 50 times less calories and is incredible for fighting flu, stomach/digestive ailments, lung problems. Been used for 2000 years. We use it at first sign of flu or when colds are going around...all of our friends and co-workers now use it and we distribute it in Hawaii...simply find it on the net,we sell only locally. I stay away from the concentrate ,though and advise the same.

There are so many natural alternatives to everything you want.

Other than stevia that one time, I have not used / ingested artficial sweetners in 31 years. Since then I have NEVER had a major headache (well, politically influenced, maybe) . Stopped eating meat then ,too.

Though , paradoxal, everything is 'natural' at some point, even the supernatural. Yet not everything is healthy for you. Who knows, maybe someday they'll make a cereal with uranium in it...somewhere down the road of evolution. Til that time , I am wary of the products that have even been endorsed by the wonderful FDA and it's constituents so concerned about my health and welfare. I stay away from things that my instincts tell me are wrong, even if everyone else uses them or if it seems convenient at the time.

Sure I am overboard...but aware! Be aware...

aloha...d
