Re: Stanley Burroughs and mollasses

Hi Osal Detour and the others who replied to my question about Stanley Burroughs. Interesting and a bit of a mystery that there isn't more to find about him - it isn't as though he came from the 15th century or anything is it?

Osal, the mollasses suggestion has been a life saver - it is now day 9 and I wonder how much less traumatic this might have been for me had I been using it from day 1 (but stuck to the original as that is what he said to do except for cane juice which I can't get)...........just the fact that I really like my drink and will use more mollasses than MP is a boon - am not quite as weak and have only had it 4 or 5 times.....there was no let up on the agonising leg pains though - I have had trouble with sciatica for a very long time and it is nicely targeting those nerves in the legs, but it makes for no sleep and a face drawn with suffering:( The pain is far worse if I lie down or sit - standing and walking seems to alleviate it until I sit or lie:( Weird, weird, weird reactions..............

The great news is that I started this adventure with cystitis and I don't leave it with it............was looking down the barrel of a dose of Antibiotics but not an issue now............am soooooo relieved and let me say that the pain has been worth it. My other deep understanding is that of the way we eat habitually and that is something that hopefully might keep us on the right track. (It is a head thing until one experiences it:) We have been essentially vegetarians for a long time now as we grow a lot of our produce, have our own water etc......and have been eating less and less, but it hasn't seemed to be enough to get us 'weller' I think this is a wonderful kick start to a lot of better things.

My husband has gastric reflux and has had no probs until the night of day 5. He was up most of the night with vomiting and 'the runs'. Thought that might be the end of him and he would bail but he didn't so will see out the 10 days. He is fine today although all day after the night experience he struggled and couldn't drink much in the way of anything.

so that is my update - I am grateful to you all for sharing your experiences and knowledge of this cleanse - to those who respond to posts. I admire those who can go the distance for longer than the 10 days :) so thank you so much.
