MC Take II
I am a little bit astonished - I completed a 17
Master-Cleanse piggy-backed by a 8 day juice fast on Jan 27, 2006 and here I am again, doing another MC, though this time only for 10 days.
The reasons are varied - I broke my bad habits with my last cleanse and have lost a couple of
pounds since then but I somehow feel that it hasn't quite been enough. I'd like to dig a little deeper and get some more positive effects.
The timing is perfect. My parents, whom I work with, are away on vacation and I only have my sister around twice a week at the office. The seratonin which any fast produces naturally will help me get through these two weeks and it will be easy to keep control - usually when I am under massive stress I eat (a bit) more than I should.
I have decided to chuck the scale out the window and will only weigh myself once at the end of this cleanse. I really hope to keep this resolve as I have been clearly obsessing about loosing these last few pounds.
This time I will do the
Master-Cleanse with Agave Nectar instead of Maple Syrup - it has the added advantage of not producing insulin spikes as Maple Syrup does. Additionally it has Magnesium, Calcium, Iron and Potassium. So a little bit different than Maple Syrup... I am hoping that will help with the hunger which last time around made me swap over on day 17 to juice fasts.
