That should be ok just get the organic next time, I did the same thing. When I made my lemon drink I would put just half the maple syrup, because it was just too sweet for me in taste, but it did help in my reduction. If you can tolerate it with half the measure of maple then you should be fine, but if you feel weak, extremly tired ect. then take a table spoon full right from the spoon and resume with the original amount of 2T per drink. I functioned just fine with just one. The book says you can reduce or increase the amount depending on whether you are worried of gaining too much or going to lose when you dont need to.
