caffine on cleanse?

i know you are not suppose to but my s.o. really is into caffine. anyway. he has his morning 2-3 cups spread out during the morning at the coffeshop job he has.
i told him it was best to go without. i just wondered if anyone continued to have caffine on this cleanse and what thier experience was with it.
