sore tongue/lips - HELP!!

i wrote a post before asking about this but it's still persisting. my tongue is way sore and my lips are so torn up, i'm on day8... has anyone else experience this? and does anyone have any suggestions... right now i'm putting neosporin on my lips and that's helping but my tongue hurts so bad, it feels like someone just sanded away the 1st layer or something ! =(
