I have broken mine with apple juice and lemonade the first two days (in preparation for my liver flush). Then I added in grapefruit juice (don't know if you can have that if you can't tolerate oj). I did not have a problem doing it this way.
Breaking slowly and gradually adding back solids is SO important. I usually keep my portion sizes very small and dilute my juices for the first few days. Once I increase my portion size, my body/head demands more every time and my newly-shrunk stomach gets stretched right back out.
