blood pressure increase on MC

Hi, I am on day five of the MC. I had to go to the doctor today to get a referral for an MRI; and, while I was there, I had my blood pressure taken. Normally, my blood pressure in around 100/60 or so. However, today my blood pressure was 133/88. My blood pressure has never been this high. I am a female, and I am wondering if it is common to have an increase in blood pressure on the Master-Cleanse (I actually thought my blood pressure would be lower). Other than this, I am feeling fine. I am on thyroid medication and birth control pills however. Could this have something to do with my elevated blood pressure?
