The problem with neglect is that it’s the absence of care - kids will never know they were neglected because that’s all they have known. This is heartbreaking. Conscious parenting is the opposite of neglect: being attuned and aware of our children’s physical, mental, and emotional needs and being a strong support system for them to rely and depend on. 💙
