Re: the dreaded mucoid plauque

i bet it totally was the fall!

i sometimes wonder if mine was from when my roomates HUGE dog jumped on me and then working just made it worse.

i think its one of those things that takes a long time to go away. i suggest to avoid surgery because they do go away with patience, nutrition and babying the joint.
also the hand and wrist area is hard to operate on because it is such a complex area. you can end up with a paralyzed hand perm. or a infection in the joint that can cause you to lose you hand...i pick painful and slightly useless over those any day.

totally skip the weights. i tried some at the end of summer/early fall and it made mine hurt like crazy and it puffed up. i think it needs more rest.
you are only suppose to lift stuff that weighs a few ounces. also you could have your chiro check the alighnment. cysts can be caused or re-occur because stuff is out of place slightly. mine recently just popped fully back in place. it was so swollen that my carpals were spaced differently in the cyst hand as oppose to the healthy hand.

ice it down after you are on the computer if it hurts or not. that also seems to help me.
