Putin calls Moscow concert hall attack 'barbaric', vows retribution

Russian President Vladimir Putin on Saturday called an attack on a concert hall that killed more than 100 a "barbaric terrorist act" and vowed harsh retribution to all those involved. In a short, televised speech, Putin said what the people wanted to hear but stopped short of directly assigning blame for one of the worst terrorist attacks in modern day history in Russia, Freelance Correspondent Daniel Hawkins said, reporting from Moscow.
