During a recent speech presenting an award at the Gotham Awards ceremony, Academy Award-winning actor Robert De Niro insisted on reading a prepared speech the ceremony organizers had sought to censor. So De Niro went on an anti-Trump rant, for good measure throwing in a quote from John Wayne about the greedy Native Americans who didn’t want to share their land with white people.
