Re: Day Two
Alright! Another NY'er! Here are my answers to your questions:
1. One option is waking up earlier, taking it and going back to bed. Is drinking the tea at night giving you a bm in the morning? I find that when I do the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) it's all over within 2 hrs. There isn't a downside of taking it at night that I can think of. The main reason we do the lax tea and the
SWF (Salt-Water-Flush) is to encourage things to move. If you aren't giving your body encouragement to move the toxins out of your body they will sit in you and be re-absorbed. You don't want that to happen. As long as things keep moving you're fine.
2. My bm's aren't large either. It depends from person to person. The first one you had was just getting rid of all the food wastes in your colon. From here on out your bm's will be made up of the toxins that are flushed out and mucoid plaque that has built up on your digestive lining. The size varies from person to person. As long as you're getting something out everything is still working. Some days mine are small, some days they are large. I don't think I'd be having any if it weren't for the tea and the flush.
3. Do you mean the tea or the lemon drink here? I can't see why it would hurt to make large quantities of tea to drink later. I have read mixed opinions regarding the lemon drink. I hear many people mix up a large quantity of it due to circumstances and the cleanse is still effective for them. I read however that the lemon juice oxidizes and loses its nutrients and strength when it's left out. This is why we can't use the bottled stuff. In my own personal experience I don't like the stuff as much at the end of day when I mix up large quantities of it in the morning. Also, I think that when the cayenne sits in the water it absorbs it and the flavor is stronger so it ends up being hotter than when it's stirred freshly in. I always mix fresh glasses. I have a glass that is clearly marked (by me) for measuring amounts so I juice a lemon into it up to one line with a spoon and then pour a little syrup in, add some cayenne, pour in the water and stir. This is actually easier for me than mixing it fresh into a gallon jug b/c it's less messy - don't have to get it into the narrow top of the bottle. Another warning: don't use the same bottle or glass without rinsing it. You backwash into it and your saliva has toxins in it.
