Re: Day 10! We made it!

Hello!

Congrats for being on day 7. I am on day 7 as well and I cannot wait to eat food again... it is so exciting to think that in a few more days we can. Don't beat yourself up over your slip, and definitly don't use it as an excuse to break the fast. Hang in there till the end, and then you can judge whether the fast was beneficial or not to you. I have had several moments when I have asked myself,"Why am I doing this again?" "Is this really good for my body?" "Should I just stop?" I am constantly second guessing myself, and I think that it is the body's way of trying to fullfill its need for food. I think that this cleanse is a test of willpower more than anything, for me anyway.

As far as the white tongue... I have some funky breathe, but besides that my tonge is not very white and fuzzy either. In fact it is more pinkish than white, and has been that way throughout almost the entirety of the fast. So I think in that regard everyone is different, and that is ok.

I'm assuming that this is your first cleanse. It is my first and I definitly feel just as apprehensive as you do as to whether I will see/get results or not. It is frustrating to think that we've been doing all this work for nothing.... but I keep telling myself that the benefits of the cleanse do not start appearing until the very end of the cleanse (hopefully this is the case) :)

I hope it is helpful to you to know that others feel or have felt similar to you. :) All I can say is we are so close, so be strong and stick with it! You have the support of so many people to suceed.

I have a question. On day 4-6, things went really well, I had energy, thought of food but did not crave it as I did on day 3, and was in a very very good mood. But today I feel extremely lathargic and a little cranky. Also when I stand-up I get light headed (this all started last night). And sometimes I feel as if I am going to black out, because my vision turns dark. Yesturday I was unable to make any of the lemonade and therefore, did not drink any (I was super busy and not home) and this is probably why I feel so shitty today. Can anyone give me advice or any insight on the fatigue??

Also the last two mornings (yesturday and today) I have not had enough time to do the SWB either, but definitly plan on doing them for the remaining three days. Is this bad?

Thanks.
