tongue sores

I've had a tongue sore for 3-4 days now and it seems as if it is on the decline and getting better. Has anyone had this? What days did it occur (start and go away)? Today is also day 6, and I'm hungry just as I was on day 2. Also starting to get cranky... and I also want to eat a lot of things like meat.
