In my part of the world now is the time favorite mushrooms appear in the woods-------compared to 50 years ago, these mushrooms are all but GONE and can only be found on the best of days when everything is perfect and then only in areas where humans seldom go.......wild mushrooms do not like people and all the poisons that go along with human life.
