Re: never had mold in enema bulb or bag…

Fortunately, never had an issue with mold in enema bag or bulb syringe.

Always cleaned before and after enemas given.
Wash with warm mild soapy water in kitchen sink. Then rinsed with little hydrogen peroxide. Air dry for few days.

Cleaned the bulb syringe the same way. Squeezed in and out upside a few times while it was airing out in the bathroom.

Learned from my aunt years ago to put the bulb syringe upside down on towel rack. Put it between the wall and the towel rack.

Most of the time I left it sitting on the side of the tub.

Enemas were given in our home often. My aunt and cousin lived with us. She was old fashioned nurse and believed in giving the enema.

I never used Fleet enemas.

It is best to always consult with doctor before giving enemas.
