Hyperthyroid after Iodine break?

Has anyone experienced going hyperthyroid after taking a break from Iodine?
I never had thyroid issues, I have been taking Iodine for a few years to help treat FBD and an ovarian cyst and while taking it my results were coming mildly hypothyroid (which I read is expected) but I felt well.
I decided to take a break this summer as I had a bit of thyroid swelling/goiter which was persistent for more than a year and wanted to see if it will go away.
3 months later the swelling is gone, but I have lost 8 kg, last month my period did not come, I did some tests and turns out I am now hyperthyroid - TSH is 0,01 miu/L, FT3 12,63 pmol/L and FT4 22,01 pmol/L. I generally feel ok but I get tired easier and sometimes get a bit of tremor.
Could that be a transient stadium?
I am planning to get back on Iodine but not sure when and how.
