Re: changing skin tone without iodine application? - orange discoloration

This was 8 years ago, so I'm not expecting a response, but if anyone else is looking, I wanted to add another data point...

I have also experienced the orange palms with daily 20 drops Lugols 2%, no excess carotene in the diet or Iodine spills on my hands. Well, palm, actually. Just my left palm has turned orangish and I have small orange discolorations on the inner corner of my ring and baby finger nails.

Plus I noticed when washing my face and neck, I have been exfoliating off Iodine colored skin/sebum - this phenomenon has only started in the past few weeks since I increased to the 20 drops.

I wonder if this indicates I'm taking too much if my skin is now trying to shed excess iodine... Tweet
