feeling cold in 80 degree weather

Hello all,

A friend of mine, 83, feels cold even though he lives in 80 degree weather. I have started him on Lugol’s solution starting a week ago from 2 drops of 2% solution to 10 drops and backing down to 2. He still feels cold and at times gets very hot when he needs the AC on. Is there something else he should be doing? He is practically a vegetarian now.
