Re: Should I get an ultrasound?

Hello Holistic8,

Me too! I’m one year into my Iodine supplementation and 4 months ago started noticing some thyroid swelling. Before that I had a tight feeling on and off for a few months. I’ve tried higher doses and SSKI , but now I’m back at 100mg - 50mg iodoral and 8 drops (50mg) Lugols with co-supplements and salt loading. I take breaks on weekends.

How do you feel generally? Are your energy levels, metabolism ok?
I feel fine, even great I’d say on some days, I exercise regularly, sleep well and haven’t noticed any symptoms that would suggest hypo or hyperthyroidism, so I wonder if it it simply a matter of time?
Flechas mentions that it takes even 4 years for scar tissue to disappear from breasts with Iodine supplementation, so maybe the thyroid also needs its time to get saturated and go back to its normal size?

It would be great to hear back from Celtori or Alkaliza about their experience after all those years. Did their goiter disappear? How are they feeling today? Are they still taking iodine?

Intuitively I just feel I have to continue.
