It is alright to take the Gel-Caps 'as is". Dr. Clark said to pull the capsules apart, and dissolve them in honey, but you can swallow them as is. Your body temp. will dissolve the outer shell. So, count out 3000mg, get a large glass of water, and start swallowing!!! When I did mine, I mixed them with juice instead of honey.

P.S.***For future reference..."gel-caps"= means just that, the capsules are filled with gel, "capsules" = just powder, can usually be pulled apart, and "tablet"= is a solid hard pill. Hope this helps.
