Dr Marik's hospital has roughly 6% death rate, unlike the 20% rate seen in many parts of the world.

The Recovery trial's success with a corticosteroid was helpful for him because he was previously getting push back regarding use of a steroid in the MATH+ protocol. WHO had discouraged use of steroid.

He likes hydroxychloroquine for the early phase. Once person is in the hospital, probably too late due to pharmakenetics.

He discusses that the viral replication ends rather early. It is the excessive immune system response that kills the patient.
