Pain in groin region!

I have been having this pain in my groin region which kind of alternate from right to left and sometimes it feels like it is in the testicle region but it really isn’t once I massage my growing area it goes away. But my question, is there anything that I can do if it is possibly a pulled muscle or nerve or anything like that how can I fix this.
