the reign of jesus christ began immediately after his ressurection. satan had fallen and his home base, jerusalem, was later sieged, sacked and razed to the ground in 70AD, just as jesus had prophesied. after a thousand years of the creators son ruling (look at samuel 8 to see what god rule looks like - it is not outward or overt), the church divided, the house fell and satan was loosed to have sway in the world again for a bit more time. we are at the end of that time. the jews are in charge and the end is near. they are desperate because they know time is running out. jesus is coming back to intervene because if not these devils will destroy everything and everyone. its what they do.
