Tender next to thyroid and also spotting

Hello! I’m new to the group but started iodine supplementation about 3 weeks ago. I’m also steroid dependent and take Prednisone for adrenal insufficiency. That said, I am currently at 50mg Iodoral with minimal symptoms (also doing full co-supps) but tried 100mg today to see what it felt like. I have a couple questions: 1. With iodine, I’ve noticed that my thyroid or lymph next to my thyroid is a little bit sore/feels funny. What could that be? Is it normal? 2. I noticed some spotting today (and some previously) since iodine treatment. Is that iodine related? Tweet
