safe bathtub & bathtub cover materials?

I had been trying to take detox baths in the old claw foot tub here for years, but I just discovered that in the many places it is chipped, there is tons of lead. Yikes! So I bought a tub cover called Tubskin to take detox baths. There are other disposable and reusable tub covers available. I would like to know if the materials in these tub covers are safe to take an ozone or H2O2 (Hydrogen-Peroxid) bath in? I was told years ago that it is not safe to use my tub for these baths because of the finish (nothing to do with the lead).
