I think my body has been wanting another extended fast lately. Seems everything I eat has unwelcome side effects from itching to aching tummy to tired and lacking energy no matter what it is, so I think it's time again.
I know now that yeast & fermented foods (breads, beer, kombucha) give me a reaction of itchy skin. Fatty foods give me heartburn. The rest I don't know.
I had decided quite a few times to start another one after my first one of 27 days, and never got more than 3 days in. I remember how great I felt for quite a long time after my first fast and want that again. My body needs some healing and rest from the inside.
Does anyone have tips on succeeding with it past the 3 days and close to 30? I thought second time around would be easier, but I haven't gotten there yet to know.
