Where to buy iodine

I am sorry if this is a repeat question but my search sent me to 11 year old threads. I need iodine. I had been using 5% Lugols and I am running out. I have moved away from the doc who sold me my bottle. Where is the best place to purchase and is there any value in trying to make it myself or is that stupid? Just don’t want to pay $30 for an ounce if there’s a cheaper as effective source or it’s easy and cheap to make. Thanks! Tweet
