Our Daughter has estranged herself from us---what to about these items?
Our daughter decided to estrange herself from us. It's not over something we did. Rather, it was something she did that left her husband and kids, not to mention us, devastated. She doesn't want to be confronted over what she did so she cut off contact with us.
We've downsized recently. Going through items before and after we moved, I opened a container and it reminded me of how many photos we have of her. This container has photos that we framed with the hope that one day we would put them up on the walls. We never got around to that. I now wonder what to do with them These are some options I thought of:
1. Take them out of the frames and put them in a photo album. Perhaps, one day, her kids or, if not her kids, her future grandkids, might be interested in seeing them.
2. Mail them to her. If I do this and she throws them out, so be it.
3. Throw them out. Without having to ask my husband, I know that he would vote for this option. It pains him to be reminded of what she did.
Any thoughts?
