Re: fallingfruit.org - free fruit to anyone
I know that it's forbidden to post websites that sell products on here,
all websites sale something or some ideology
but they don't sell anything. I found this website a couple of days ago, I'm on a social media group that posted this, so it's a benefit to anyone. It shows free fruit trees to anyone that is on public land. There's fifty three trees that are listed in my town, apple, red mulberry, chokecherry (cherry/plum/peach/nectarine/apricot/almond family), plum, serviceberry (tastes like blueberries), Russian olive - looks and tastes sort of like an olive, the fruit can last a year with no preservation at room temperature, but completely different botanical family. One pawpaw, which I spent nearly an hour walking around trying to find a couple of days ago, I couldn't find it, but I found a huge plum tree that was new to me, and wasn't on the website.
with trees, they are picky and need some care for the first few years when transplanting and if they are in the wrong soil or climate they will always die
public land? that means government land?
people own private land and gov owns public land or land the public can use
