Ozone can also destroy/degrade a number of household materials such as rubber, plastics ie wiring/cables and some metals. I was looking at getting an ozone device to destroy bacteria and mould but the downsides outweighed any advantages IMO. I didn't want half my kitchen damaged and needing replacement.
