Yes, it is said that only males are allowed to not reincarnate IF they have overcome. So that is the 'life' that is being referred to in case there was any question.

But, females can, have, and do deserve eternal life as indicated by Jesus so the disciple's statement is not necessarily true.

As God instructed in Genesis the two genders are to become one. Yet there are problems with that. Females are not to try to usurp authority, but they try to and males are to take responsibly for their own actions, but they want to be carefree.

When the male and female qualities, and there are many more than the two given, become balanced within an individual, of any gender, then spiritually they are considered male, because the male came first.
