Re: Biofilm disruptors; powdered or pill form?

Biofilms help the micro-organisms contained inside to adapt because the biofilm retains failed DNA to due an attack by anti antimicrobial. This process is used by micro-organisms to adapt.

There are substances which can also help prevent biofilm formation which can help give more time to destroy the micro-organisms.

Boswellic Acid - Frankincense

"Recent studies have shown that boswellic acid is important in helping preventing biofilms from attaching themselves to our body. In addition they can effectively inhibit the growth of biofilms up to 50%."

N-Acetyl L-Cysteine

"One research study took 15 strains of Staphylococcus and found NAC was able to lower the biofilm formation (they called it a “slime” index) upwards of 40%. This makes it work well with the boswellic acid."
