Re: Potential worms in berries : Precautions?

otential worms in berries : Precautions?
Hi MH,

HELLO

I love blueberries and Canadian cherries.
COOL

I am worried about worms or eggs of worms in these.
SURE

Organic options are not available at my place.
ORGANIC OFTEN WOULD MEAN MORE WORMS/EGGS ETC. BECAUSE THEY DID NOT USE POISONS TO SPRAY THEM.

Is there a way to eat these without the intake of worms?
YOU CAN LOOK FOR LARGE WORMS AND TRY TO AVOID THOSE
NO ONE WANTS TO EAT FRUIT THAT THEY CAN SEE WORMS IN.

I PREFER TO JUST PICK AND EAT AND NOT LOOK

What precautions could one take while buying these and then storing them?
STORES MOST LIKELY NOT GOING TO SALE ANYTHING WITH WORMS, COMMERCIAL STORES GAS THE FRUITS AND USE SPRAYS WITH CHEMICALS, ETC.

Hope you are having a good day!
THANKS

IF YOUR BUYING FRUITS YOU SHPOULD BE FINE---EVERYTHING SPRAYED/GASED.

PICKING FRESH YOU MAY EAT A WORM OR 2

MH
