NO THINKING ALLOWED - by order of the Health Ministry

Next week, I will be visiting another eye doctor who specializes in cataract surgery. Since I fractured 3 ribs and cannot lie down, and don't know when I will be able to lie down again, there isn't really much point. OK, they will examine me, and I will tell them that it is possible to cure or at least reduce my cataract symptoms without surgery.

Yesterday, I called a researcher who, back in 2000, had developed eye drops that temporarily restored optical clarity to the lens (his work was never followed up by the eye profession).
I said, my upcoming visit would give me a chance to tell them what cataract is - how it happens, and how it could be cured.
He said: "DON'T FIGHT WITH THEM. In this country today, there are no eye doctors who are able to think for themselves. Because of the Health Ministry, they have lost the power to think. So don't fight".
Because of that, I am frankly worried about what will happen when I try to tell them THE TRUTH.
