Re: Ozone sauna and sun exposure

After my 30 minute swim the other day my skin feels like I have a chemical burn. It is well published hard Science that antioxidant levels in the dermis protect against photodamage. The oxidized PUFA/sunburn connection is directly related to this. With all the good money I spend on quality antioxidants like astaxanthin I am beginning to think it is seriously counterproductive to oxidize it out of my skin. Honestly the #1 tried and true effective face product is vit C serum.

As much as I love me some ozone I wonder more and more if it does anything good for skin. After over a decade of o3 sauna use I still get the rash. I had some lipomas on my back that have virtually disappeared but it is probably from the sauna heat alone. Then again the Hocatt people seem to be investing alot.

Who knows. Sometimes I think the sauna time might serve my health better just sweating it out Arnold style at the gym.
