Hydrogen peroxide for detox?

I understand that hydrogen peroxide increases oxygen in a persons body and can help rid the body of pathogens this way. I’ve also heard it has the ability to detox the body of toxins. Does anybody know the mechanism behind this? How does the peroxide detox ones body of toxins?
