Pinworms or something else?

I haven't figured out how to post my own message originally, so I'm replying to someone else's.
About 2 years ago my daughter, then about 2, started itching her butt. A lot. And I couldn't get her to stop. It was suggested to me by family that she could have pinworms so I checked at night with a flashlight and I saw a black dot moving on her butt. And on another family member's as well. And in the next few weeks I started to feel crawling or itching on my butt at night. I figured it was pinworms, and we treated with over the counter pinx. Time went on, other extended family were found to have pinworms also. We have treated quite a bit with pinx and vermox, and our toddlers no longer show any symptoms. It's just me still feelng the crawling at night, for a few minutes every night. I don't want to tell everyone we are clear of pinworms, though fecal test came back clear, when I still have symptoms. But is it pinworms I have, or could it be something else? No-one describes pinworms as a little black dot, yet that's what I saw on butts originally. Any ideas?
