How effective is a YAG laser treatment?

My husband had undergone a cataract surgery in 2017. The surgery went well and he recovered from it very soon. He was able to see things clearly after the surgery. But he was told not to lift anything heavy or bend over for at least a week. He was also told not to drive the car for a month. He obeyed everything that the doctor had said. It has been a year since he had undergone the surgery. But now he is complaining that his vision has become blurry again and he is not able to drive because of the blurry vision. I took him to a nearby eye clinic yesterday. After a detailed checkup, the doctor said that he sees a scar tissue behind the lens implant. He added that it is common to develop a scar tissue after a cataract surgery. And this had caused the vision to become blurry again. The development of a scar tissue behind the lens implant after a cataract surgery is known as a secondary cataract.
