Chest/abdominal pain

Maybe bit of a long shot but here it goes:
A friend of mine has pain on his left side, chest/abdominal area. He says it feels like a metal pipe. Pain started 1 month ago around full moon for a week, disappeared and came back now again around full moon. He got diagnosed with asthma and allergies to cats dogs dustmites very recently, after he woke up unable to breathe.
I gave him my bottle of blue vervain as I thought he might have ascaris...he said he will try and take a few droppers when the pain sets in again.
We will see, I thought maybe you have some suggestions what else to try.
