Smoking on a water fast?

My mom is extremely sick with her Fibroids and will do a hysterectomy operation! I convinced her to do the fast but the problem is shes a heavy smoker and take pills. She said shes willing to stop all pills but she cant stop the smoking. She said shes willing to stop smoking if she can smoke weeds.

What should I do? and do u know anyone with Fibroids that benefited from a water fast?
