My husband was troubled with abdominal pain and swelling for the last two days. He told me that it might be due to food poisoning so he kept it untreated. Yesterday I noticed swelling in his legs and ankles. He told me that he was feeling fatigue and he vomited several times. I took him to a nearby clinic. The doctor suggested a blood test and MRI scan. Both the tests were performed. They went through the results in detail and told that my husband was diagnosed with liver cirrhosis. He also added that his cirrhosis was caused by alcohol. I was shocked to hear that because I have never seen him drunk. Later I found that he used to drink daily from the pub, but he never showed any outward signs of being drunk. The doctor said that my husband is at his early stage of liver cirrhosis and it can be treated completely if he would stop his drinking.
