Water fast and antibiotics

Hello,

I am new to this forum as well as long term Water Fasting (I've been intermitent fasting only)

I have a huge infection on my tooth and the doctor gave me two Antibiotics because I need to get rid out of the infection before I take this tooth away.

I would like to know if it's ok to fast while taking Antibiotics . I've been reading here people saying that you should only Water Fast so your body can heal by itself, but usually the topics are related to bronchitis or skin issues.
