Re: Khan Hippocrates Lecture on DCA Therapy

Thanks for the link to the Khan article. I listened to it. The following stood out especially for my area of interest--glioblastoma brain cancer.

Penetrates into the brain--for brain cancer. vs most standard chemotherapies

Inhibits PDK enzyme, force cancer to shift from glycolysis--shuts down the fermentation method they want to use.

60% of patients respond--either biochemically, pain reduction or tumor reduction

Rat study in Alberta Ca, glioblastoma--rapid tumor shrinkage. 2007

Glioblastoma. Alberta study 5 patients out of dozens who started--prob gave them too much. 2/5 dca alone tumor shrinkage, 2/5 combo with chemo--better than average survival, @5min

50 yr old woman glioblastoma had surgery radiation, chemo for year, DCA in between chemo doses from the beginning --complete remission for over two years, not on any traditional therapy just DCA. @9min

Occasional complete remission of stage 4 1-2%

No life threating sfx, not immunosuppressive. not drop cell count.

dose may change over time due to build up so cyclic therapy.

Neuropathy main side effect, dose dependent, uses supplements to combat that.

Best in combination therapy--multi target approach
