Re: How effective is homeopathy in treating digestive disorders?

I know people who use homeopathy and they claim that it helps them. However I think that you need to believe it will work for it to do anything.

I am not convinced by it. You could try the Bach Rescue Remedy if you believe in that kind of thing. I think it is another of those that you need to believe it will work for it to have any effect.

IBS is caused by an infection in the stomach leading to Increased Digestive Permeability aka a description I dislike "Leaky Gut". This is a very widespread problem affecting a very high percentage of the population. Research that I have read thought it was normal but it is not, it is harmful to human health. Antibiotic resistance is making it an even bigger problem because the microorganisms that cause it are so highly resistant that Antibiotics do not affect them.

To successfully treat it you need to disregard research and ideas and treat the stomach infection(s). It may affect your colon ie IBS but the primary cause is the infection in the stomach. The vagus nerve links the stomach and the rest of the digestive system and when microorganisms attack a surface of the stomach there is a further effect in the related/reflex area later in the digestive system. Chances are that you have hypochlorhydria too.

Read up on Quorum Sensing, Efflux Pump Inhibitors, Biofilms and then you might know more about how to tackle it while the researchers mess around for years investigating. You could also have a look at iridology which might show signs such as radii solaris if the infection is of a large size which they are in me.
A very good iris chart which shows how the stomach is connected to the rest of the digestive system:

BTW your kidney energy is probably weak, which will show as a darker area (grey) at just inside 6 o clock in both irises, which would be what is provoking your panic attacks. This DOES NOT mean any kidney disease. It is a change in the nervous system function in the kidneys and brain. It will mean you have elevated background cortisol levels.
